Our Arctic Extreme Tuff-Deck scales are constructed with materials up to two times the strength of A36 steel. Add to that its electronic, pitless, low profile, and modular design, and you’re looking at a heavy-duty scale that is stronger, lighter, flexible for future expansion, and cost-efficient, saving you in foundation, installation, and access ramp expenses.
All of our Tuff-Deck scales feature a rocket pin load cell design for easier mounting. Plus, the load cell is highly resistant to corrosion, constructed with the latest manufacturing technology, and offers a 30-ton capacity, 150% safe working overload, and 350% ultimate overload capacity.

Tuff-Deck Load Cells
The standard Tuff-Deck steel vehicle scale utilizes a self-restoring rocker pin design load cell, 30 ton capacity each, with 150% safe working overload, and 350% ultimate overload capability. This load cell is manufactured from 17-4 PH and 316 stainless steel materials and is highly resistant to corrosion.
The rocker pin load cell allows a simple mounting arrangement with one lower and one upper bearing. The load cell is supplied with a rubber boot to protect the lower bearing from mud contamination. There are no links or pins to wear out.
